In Defense of the Veil

I wrote this after a Muslim girl harshly criticized those who CHOOSE to wear the veil among her sisters. I wrote it in their defense and nothing more. As for the “shroud” comment, what I am trying to portray is that why are such girls running after fashion so blindly when at the end of the day your going to be buried in a shroud without makeup or fashionable clothes. We the Muslims bury both men AND women in a plain white shroud.  Therefore, I am speaking to those Muslim girls here who choose not to wear the veil themselves…
